Urban Seamstress

Another image of my drider, Kira. Mostly threw this together because I wanted an excuse to flesh out her character a bit more, since I realized I didn't actually detail much in the 'Introducing' images.

So here she is. The urban seamstress. Abandoned by parents -or possibly just 'creators', she's been alone as long as she can remember. Any human infant would die. Kira's arachnid instincts wouldn't let that happen.

She lives alone, reserved and reclusive, but ever-perceptive, learning bits and pieces of the world around her simply by watching it fly by. She tries to keep herself sated on animals alone...but sometimes there's just not enough of them around in the big city, and eventually...she gets too hungry.

Kira goes hungry as long as she can, as much as she can, but instincts have still forced her to feed on humans time and time again. It is unpleasant, to say the least, and brings a cutting grief and shame. Just another reason why she hides.

However, the reclusive behaviour is a conscious choice. By nature, Kira is not a hermit, but a curious, albiet naive, young girl, able to find joy in simple things like...well, spinning a web! Were someone to approach her, show her the unconditional kindness and acceptance she's never had, they would find her to be a soft-spoken, but bubbly little spider girl, with extreme clingy tendencies.
